Official launching of English Access Microscholarship Program

Access Program is officially launched in Niksic for the second time by Her Excellency Ms Judy Rising Reinke, the U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro, president of English Language Teachers’ Association of Montenegro ELTAM Ms Dragana Radoman and vice president of Municipality of Niksic Ms Sonja Nikcevic. Twenty-five talented students received certificates of induction and officially joined the Access community, bringing new energy and enthusiasm. New “Points of Light”, as Ms Reinke called Access students, started their challenging journey through Access Microscholarship Program. The ambassador congratulated both students and their families, wishing them success and fun during the following two years. The representatives of numerous institutions and organizations which supported the program were present together with students and their families at the event organized in elementary school “Luka Simonovic”: Public Affairs Office – U.S. Embassy, Regional English Language Office – RELO, Municipality of Niksic, Secretariat for Culture, Sport, Youth and Social Welfare, Bureau of Education Services, Center for Social Welfare, headmasters and teachers of schools from which the students were selected, Fulbright scholars, ELTAM members, Access coordinator and teachers, as well as former Access students from Niksic. The English Access Microscholarship Program is implemented by the English Language Teachers’ Association of Montenegro ELTAM and financially supported by the U.S. Department of State through the U.S. Embassy.
