Scouting

On Tuesday, April 25th, Access students had an opportunity to hear about scouting and the way it developed from its beginning in the early 20th century to nowadays. Our guest was Milan Mijajlovic from Scouting Troop “Njegos”. He gave a retrospect view on the history of scouting, its beginnings, boy scouting in the wars, awards, differences between scouting in the USA, Europe and scouting in Montenegro. Milan was also telling about their past projects, projects they currently work on and their plans for the future. He gave a brief description what is required to be a scout, what scouting salute represents, what skills and abilities you can achieve through scouting and how you can develop as a scout.
